Our Story
Like all of our business ventures, Krossroads Kreations is a family affair. While crafting has long been a hobby of Kendra’s, the business didn’t begin until Lisa retired. When her career in public work came to an end, she wanted to start embroidering. She bought the machine, learned to use it and 39,213,992 stitches later, she is still at it.
With inspiration from Kendra and Kellie, Lisa continues to embroider and also does vinyl work. Lately, the majority of her stitch count belongs to her grandson, Miles. He is always decked out in seasonal wear, all including his name or monogram (of course).
In addition to vinyl, embroidery, and seasonal wreaths, Krossroads Kreations specializes in seasonal décor. With Lisa and Kellie’s assistance, Kendra is expanding the business to include event planning and preparation. She’s always willing to try new things and loves to stay on trend to ensure every gathering looks picture perfect for Instagram and Facebook.

Laurel Creek Farms Beef
Our Kentucky Proud farm now has grass fed beef in addition to grain finished. We have booked appointments at a local processor for 2022. We’d love to be your supplier of local, farm fresh beef.

Roots + Blooms
Staying true to “local” and “Kentucky Proud” labels, Roots + Blooms only sells flowers and fillers that are grown on the Childress Family Farm. With less than two acres currently devoted to the “flower farm”.

The Barn
When the farm was purchased in 2012, it had an old house, a log shed, and a tobacco barn. While the first order of business was clean up, the family’s vision for sharing their little piece of Heaven became clear. An event venue was something they dreamed of even before the property changed hands.

Our 400+ acres are located outside of Clarkson, Kentucky. We take great pride in caring for the land in addition to doing what it takes to ensure that the farm operations are diversified to pave the way for future generations.
